Crown Oil Environmental is hiring a Forecourt Pipefitter specialising in Fuel Tank Systems. In this role, you'll ensure the safety and efficiency of fuel tank installations and maintenance. Key responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for fuel storage and distribution while adhering to regulatory standards.
We're seeking a technically skilled individual with excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fuel tank systems and a commitment to safety and proactive project execution.
Responsibilities:
* Install pipework systems according to blueprints and specifications, including bunded UPP and steel.
* Inspect fuel pipe systems for defects or leaks and make necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance on fuel tank systems, including cleaning and lubricating components.
* Test fuel tank and pipework systems for proper functioning and safety.
* Collaborate with engineers and project managers to plan and execute fuel tank system installations and upgrades.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with forecourt tank systems and implement appropriate solutions.
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a pipefitter, specifically with fuel tank systems.
* Certification or equivalent training in pipefitting and welding.
* Strong knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Proficient in the use of hand and power tools related to pipefitting.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Desirable accreditations include Confined Space, IPAF, PASMA, and (SPA) Petrol Safety Passport.
* A driving license and CSCS card are essential to be considered.
