The Role: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager
As a vital member of our Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) department, you will play a key role in reducing risks and fostering positive working environments. Your mission? To support stakeholders in achieving the highest levels of HS&W performance.

Key Responsibilities
* Identify and address competence issues for supported projects.
* Provide top-notch HS&W support and advice to project teams.
* Spot and escalate resource issues that may pose HS&W risks.
* Assist in implementing and embedding company-wide HS&W strategy objectives.
* Contribute to work-winning activities as needed.
* Influence and support project personnel in leading HS&W initiatives.
* Promote a positive HS&W reporting culture.
Your Profile
Essential Qualifications:
* Member of IOSH working towards Chartered Status.
* Exceptional people leadership skills.
* Experience providing technical H&S support to complex construction or civil engineering projects with UK Tier 1 contractors.
* Competent in root cause analysis.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Proven track record in leading HS&W improvements.
* Proactive in personal learning and development.
* Strong technical background with experience in major project schemes.
Desired Qualifications:
* Chartered member of IOSH.
* NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Lifting experience.
* Mental Health First Aider certification.
* Experience on a Senior Leadership Team.
* Experience managing direct reports.
* Understanding of behavioral psychology and human factors.
* Involvement in external HS&W working groups.
