Costings Finance Manager – Nottingham – 10-month fixed-term
Join Our Finance Team at The Compleat Food Group! We offer an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Costings Finance Manager to join our dynamic and dedicated Finance team in Nottingham on a 10-month fixed-term contract.
In this key role, you'll lead and develop the costings team to deliver accurate and timely NPD and EPD costings to stakeholders across the business. You'll also play a pivotal part in driving the team's long-term strategy by leading project meetings and ensuring every initiative aligns with our overall business goals.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 08:30am – 5pm, Friday 08:30am – 4pm. Hybrid working available.
Your Duties Will Include
* Oversee and prioritise the day-to-day costing requests from 13 different manufacturing sites
* Review and approve costings ready to sign off with the commercial team, including approving selling prices, COGS, margin, promo funding, volume etc.
* Challenge and influence information provided from operations, commercial, NPD etc. to ensure competitive and accurate costings
* Lead and develop a team of 3 motivated finance analysts
* Drive and implement long-term goals for the team aligning with overall business targets
* Liaise and build relationships across functions such as operations, NPD, procurement and commercial
* Keeping up to date on site knowledge, such as new lines/processes/ways of working
* Keeping up to date on our product portfolio, brands, new launches etc.
* Understanding of the wider marketplace and external influences such as inflation, customer trends etc.
* Support with customer specific trackers/requests, including working with the account managers to turn financial data into customer friendly information
* Own complex costings such as capex projects, completely new products to sites and other innovative business opportunities
* Be a continuous improvement champion by leading the bi-weekly project meetings
* Support the launch of our new Recipe Professor system

* Experience in food manufacturing - desirable
* CIMA/ACCA qualified/finalist
