Full-Time Nightshift (8pm-8am)
48 hours per week
Nurses adopt a ‘hands-on’ approach to all situations and oversee, supervise, and prescribe the highest standards of physical and psychological nursing care during their shift.
As a nurse, you will work weekly contracted hours, as mutually agreed with the clinical manager or team leader, on a rota system including weekends and public holidays. To succeed in this role, you must be a fully qualified RGN or RMN with a valid PIN registration.
You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess effective verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate caring and supportive behaviors towards residents, their families, and colleagues.
The role centers on providing person-centered care for residents, including administering prescribed drugs and treatments, and supporting residents to achieve maximum independence while maintaining dignity and self-esteem. You will encourage participation in care planning, contribute to writing care plans and reports, and implement necessary changes based on outcomes. An important aspect of the role is assisting in palliative care for terminally ill residents, ensuring comfort for both the individual and their family.
You will manage staff as part of an effective nursing care team, implementing national care standards, CQC standards, and relevant legislation.
