The Role
We’re looking for an Implementation Engineer to join our growing team and lead complex post-sales integrations for our Submarine platform. In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to design, build, and troubleshoot custom implementations—ensuring seamless integration of our solutions within their market data environments and maximizing the value they gain from our technology.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot complex integration challenges outside standard interfaces, collaborating closely with clients to understand their workflows.
* Use API access to request, transform, and manipulate data objects according to client specifications.
* Lead post-sales technical implementations, ensuring seamless deployment of Submarine into client environments with minimal disruption.
* Collaborate with business analysts to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
* Work closely with engineering teams to deepen understanding of market data systems.
* Produce clear technical documentation for custom integrations and client-specific configurations.
Skills and Qualifications
* 3–5 years of experience in a technical role (e.g., Technical Support, Systems Engineering, Implementation, or similar).
* 1–3 years of experience in financial services or market data environments (preferred but not essential for exceptional candidates).
* Solid understanding of programming fundamentals with the ability to write clean, functional code.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex integration challenges.
* Comfortable working directly with enterprise clients to understand requirements and explain technical solutions.
* Experience with market data systems such as Market EDM, Golden Source, Cadence/Cadis, or CRD from State Street.
* API integration experience (REST APIs, data requests, and response handling).
* Background in financial services and understanding of market data consumption and management.
