***Senior C# Developer - 8 Month contract role - Hybrid (London)***
RED now has a new contract opportunity for a C# Developer to join one of our key partners for a brokerage project. The initial contract will be for 8 months with excellent extension opportunities.
This contract is to start 14th of May and will be hybrid with 3 days pr week on-site in London, United Kingdom.
Role responsibility:
As a Senior C# developer, you will lead the design and development of high-performance software while bridging the gap between application code and cloud infrastructure. You are responsible for building scalable systems and automating deployments using AWS CDK with Python, ensuring seamless integration and high availability. Beyond hands-on coding, you will drive technical excellence by mentoring engineers, enforcing security and testing standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that align with business goals and Agile timelines.
Specific skills/experience required:
* Minimum 5+ years of experience as a C# Developer
* Strong knowledge of core AWS Database services
* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically using AWS CDK in Python
* Experience with automated testing frameworks and good understanding of unit testing principles
* Strong experience with Agile environments
* Excellent problem-solving skills, and strong leadership/collaboration skills with the ability to work in tight deadlines
* Strong knowledge of microservices architecture in cloud environments
* Strong understanding of database design and experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
* Experience with Docker for containerisation
* Familiarity with Kubernetes
* Proficiency in using Git and JIRA
* Background with CI/CD pipelines + tools
* Experience writing documentation
* Background in the finance sector (preferred)
