Monday to Friday (Rotating) 06:00 - 14:00
14:00 - 22:00
Pay:
£13.84 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks
Pertemps Isle of Wight are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client in Ryde for experienced Production Operatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy practical, hands-on work in an industrial environment and are looking for long-term employment with pay progression.
The Role Working as part of a busy production team, you'll be involved in the manufacture and finishing of high-quality metal products.
Duties include :
Operating industrial machinery safely and efficiently
Using equipment such as metal grinders, sandblasting machines and other production equipment
Finishing and preparing manufactured products
Carrying out quality inspections
Working to production targets
Following strict health and safety procedures
We're looking for people with experience in:
Manufacturing
Production
Engineering
Metal fabrication
Construction
Industrial labouring
Machine operation
Workshop environments
If you've previously worked as a Production Operative, Machine Operator, Factory Operative, Construction Labourer, Engineering Operative, Fabricator's Mate or in any other hands-on industrial role, we'd like to hear from you.
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or construction environment (essential)
Comfortable working with machinery and power tools
Physically fit and happy carrying out manual work
Strong awareness of health and safety
Reliable with excellent timekeeping
Available to work rotating shifts
