We are currently recruiting for a 3-5's Senior Early Years Practitioner to work in a setting that provides high-quality childcare.
We are seeking a Qualified, dedicated and passionate Practitioner to join our team in the 3-5's. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children.
Main responsibilities will be:
* Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children, evaluating and recording learning experiences
* Encourage independence, build self-esteem, and support children to try new skills and experiences
* Supporting and promoting positive professional relationships with the children, families and colleagues.
* Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children
The successful candidate will:
* Have a sound knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and Realising the Ambition, Being Me
* Have excellent communication skills
* Have the ability to lead a team to provide high quality provision
* Have good organisational skills
* Be motivated, professional and passionate about working with and supporting our children and families
* Be responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating learning environment, which allow children to thrive in their development
* Have experience of working with children and young people within a play, care or learning setting
* Ideally have supervisory experience, preferably within a childcare service.
* Hold a qualification such as an SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) as a minimum
* Have a passion for being outdoors and have a clear understanding of the many benefits of outdoor play and learning.
* Be fun, engaging, adaptable, passionate about working with children and young people.
