About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Lancaster from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a thriving Mathematics department.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
* Plan and assess effectively to ensure all students make strong progress
* Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively within the Maths department and wider school staff
* Contribute to extracurricular or enrichment opportunities where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to raising achievement and supporting students of all abilities
* Ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
