This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children and young people but may not yet have formal school-based experience. You do not need to be a qualified Teaching Assistant. Schools are often keen to meet people with the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn. The role As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups or alongside the class teacher. Your role will be to help pupils engage with learning, stay focused and feel supported throughout the school day.
