Procurement Business Partner
Location: North Kent (Hybrid working)
Salary: Up to c.£57,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Hours: 35 per week, permanent
The Opportunity
Are you a skilled procurement professional ready to take ownership of high-value projects? This is a pivotal role within a collaborative procurement team, managing significant spend across diverse categories. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic procurement initiatives, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contracts Regulations 2015, while driving value and innovation.

What You’ll Do
* Lead end-to-end procurement processes: tendering, supplier engagement, and contract documentation
* Develop specifications, evaluation criteria, KPIs, and supplier performance reviews
* Champion social value in procurement activity
* Provide expert advice and training to internal teams
* Deputise for the Head of Procurement and manage a Procurement Assistant
* Contribute to policy development and system improvements
What We’re Looking For
* Full MCIPS or minimum CIPS Level 4 (support available to achieve full membership)
* Public sector procurement experience with knowledge of PA2023
* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at senior level
* Proven track record in managing complex procurement processes
* Knowledge of contract law and procurement best practice
* Proficiency with e-procurement systems and MS Office
* Line management experience is desirable
