Job Description Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Onsite Role Are you a data-driven IT professional ready to lead impactful change in a well-established and growing business? We're re-advertising this exciting IT Manager opportunity based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire to see if it might be the right time for the right person to come forward. This is a hands-on, predominantly onsite role where your technical expertise, leadership, and collaborative approach will play a key role in shaping and evolving the company’s IT systems. You’ll be managing the full IT infrastructure—including bespoke production, CRM, and logistics systems—while leading a small team and working closely with stakeholders across the business. What You’ll Be Doing: Leading day-to-day IT operations with a focus on data integrity, system resilience, and security. Managing IT infrastructure including virtual servers, firewalls, and network storage. Supporting users with corporate hardware/software and customer-facing systems. Ensuring compliance with ISO27001, licensing, and regulatory requirements. Developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Handling SQL data tasks and reporting (SSIS/SSRS) and contributing to .NET development. Managing supplier relationships and service contracts. Coaching and mentoring your team while building strong relationships across the business. What We’re Looking For: A data-led IT professional with a background in infrastructure and systems development. Ideally from a manufacturing, production, or similar sector. Strong knowledge of IT security, compliance, and ISO27001. Experienced in managing or mentoring a small team. Someone with a proactive, calm, and solution-focused approach. Confident communicator who enjoys making steady, meaningful improvements that add value.
