Environmental Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship
The Environment Agency is fully committed to having an inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We actively seek, embrace, and live diversity for the benefit of our staff, communities, and the environment.
We aim to make the Environment Agency a life-enhancing place to work—where you can bring your whole self and where differences are truly valued. Our organization values ideas and new concepts from all staff and continually evolves its culture and values.
Our work includes helping people and wildlife adapt to climate change, reducing impacts of flooding, drought, rising sea levels, and coastal erosion. We also work to improve water, land, and air quality by addressing pollution and helping businesses comply with environmental regulations.
At the Environment Agency, our goal is to protect and improve the environment and promote sustainable development. If you are passionate about the environment, this Environmental Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship offers a chance to develop skills, gain experience, and make a real difference. It is an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a career in environmental protection and improvement.
The apprenticeship involves spending one day a week at university, with additional learning activities at your workplace and some outdoor work. The study component includes day release, field trips, and travel for study. You will also work from home to complete parts of the apprenticeship. The program leads to a BSc (Hons) Environmental Science (Degree Apprenticeship) and Level 6 Environment Practitioner qualification.
