AllChild is an award-winning early intervention charity that helps children and young people build the relationships and skills they need to flourish in their schools and their communities. The charity now seeks a Community Team Manager to lead the delivery of its tailored support programmes across a cluster of schools.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing delivery for a cohort of children and young people, with support from an Associate Link Worker.
* Ensuring individual support plans are consistent, purposeful and of a high quality.
* Providing guidance and problem-solving support on complex cases.
* Monitoring engagement, progress and outcomes, using data to inform decisions.
* Line managing Link Workers and Associate Link Workers, providing regular supervision, feedback and performance support.
* Supporting the induction and ongoing development of new and developing staff.
* Managing relationships with partner schools and senior school staff.
* Building and maintaining links with local services and voluntary and community sector organisations, including Early Help.
* Strengthening joined‑up working across the community to improve access to support for children and families.
* Contributing to wider place‑based and organisational initiatives, such as collective impact work.
Skills and Experience
* An experienced, values‑driven practitioner who enjoys leading people and improving outcomes for children and young people.
* 5–8 years’ experience of frontline delivery work in a relevant setting, including management experience.
* The ability to build trusted professional relationships with children, families and schools, VCSE organisations and other stakeholders across the locality.
* Confidence in leading and supporting others in their practice.
* Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, including charities, local services and organisations, schools and the local council.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities across delivery, people and partnerships.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across settings.
* Confidence using data to inform planning and decision‑making.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, with the ability to identify, respond to and escal e concerns appropriately and to promote safe practices across a team.
* The ability to set, model and reinforce clear professional boundaries when working with children, young people and families and to support others in doing the same.
* Experience in schools, youth work, family support, social care or a similar setting.

Salary
£36,000 – £38,000 (dependent on role and experience).
Hours
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract.
