The role will require being able to work from the Crewkerne office at least 1 day per week alongside on-site visits and occasionally working away for one night at a time per week
Your role will encompass:
Develop, implement and oversee HSE culture, alongside project-specific HSE documentation for all assigned projects
Collaborate with stakeholders on environmental and health & safety matters
Review and prepare weekly and monthly H&S site reports and managing paperwork
Conduct monthly audits on construction sites to ensure compliance
Conduct market research and select suppliers for PPE, waste management equipment, etc
Identify, deliver, and monitor training needs
Conduct safety inspections and ensure overall construction and site safety

What you bring to the role:
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (Graduate IOSH Membership)
Proven HSE experience in related field
University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering is a plus
Experience in energy projects is considered an advantage
Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal direction/supervision
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
