What you'll be doing
* Use the company’s ERP and Digital Systems.
* Orders information and systematically checks data.
* Measures, records & values work unsupervised in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures.
* Preparation of cost reconciliation statements.
* Measures & interprets works information, specifications & drawings and prepares bills of quantities and schedules of rates.
* Build up estimates from first principle including net and gross estimates.
* Measurement of works and agreements with subcontractors.
* Review weekly, monthly, section programmes of works.
* Plan commercial activities to meet requirements of section programmes.
* Collation of Cost and Value Information.
* Understanding of the Customer Contract and undertake customer and stakeholder management for their area of responsibility.
* Understanding of delay and disruption programmes.
Who we're looking for
* The ability to use financial control procedures
* The ability to use existing information to value variations
* Understands and uses Contract Programmes incorporating the whole of the works
* The ability to analyse the implication of various options
* Knowledge of Construction programmes
* A sound working knowledge of the various forms of conditions of contract used for civil engineering projects
* Demonstrates knowledge & experience of contract structures & documentation
