position, with flexible and part-time hours available if desired. Just let us know what works for you! Your Responsibilities
As a Section Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in: Acting as the main technical adviser on-site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives. Interpreting design documentation to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Supporting construction teams with technical queries and resolving design conflicts. Driving value engineering initiatives to enhance project efficiency. Managing and coordinating temporary works designs and approvals. Monitoring construction progress and providing accurate technical input for project reporting and planning. What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have: A Degree, HND, or HNC in civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering discipline. A valid CSCS and SMSTS Card. Experience in a civil engineering or construction environment, particularly in the Water sector. A Full UK Driving Licence. At Kier, we value potential and welcome transferable skills.
