Four Seasons Recruitment are exclusively representing an internationally acclaimed company, who are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics and Fleet Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is passionate about driving operational efficiency, managing teams, and maintaining high service standards.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations, coordinating transportation and third-party logistics providers, and ensuring the smooth movement, storage, and distribution of goods.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage transportation systems and coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimise collection and delivery schedules.
* Oversee company vehicles and manage drivers in line with company transport policies.
* Ensure all vehicles meet industry standards and comply with relevant haulage and transport regulations.
* Maintain full compliance with health and safety regulations across all warehouse activities.
* Manage and maintain health and safety audits, training programmes, signage, and documentation.
* Monitor and replenish warehouse consumables within agreed budgets.
* Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms to track stock levels, process orders, and generate operational reports.
* Manage the order book and ensure ageing orders are identified and actioned promptly.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
* Work closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to streamline processes and improve workflow.
* Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure the timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years’ management experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
* Proven experience managing and tracking third-party logistics (3PL) collections and deliveries.
* Experience handling large, heavy, high-value, or luxury goods within a warehouse environment.
* Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics management, and transportation systems.
* Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and Microsoft Outlook/Excel.
* Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and working with 3PL providers.
* Forklift licence or operational experience preferred.
* Excellent organisational and people management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational or profit and loss data to support decision-making.
* Demonstrated experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
