Job Title: Service Desk Engineer Location: Maidenhead Salary: £28,000 per annum Type: Full-time | Permanent
We’re hiring on behalf of an expanding Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Maidenhead that is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st & 2nd line IT support via phone, email, and remote tools
* Assist in the delivery of IT projects, both remotely and onsite
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Windows, Microsoft 365, and networking
* Manage system builds, deployments, and routine maintenance
* Deliver excellent client service by understanding needs and resolving issues promptly
About You:
* 2+ years' experience in IT support, ideally within an MSP environment
* Full driving licence (site visits required)
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Able to prioritise workloads and solve technical problems independently
* Working knowledge of:
o Active Directory, Windows Server (2012+), Windows 10+
o Microsoft 365 and Office administration
o Intune and Entra (formerly Azure AD)
o Networking: DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, email configuration
o System builds, deployments, and maintenance best practices
