This is a fixed-term, part-time position of 24 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Sunday (3 over 7). The salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
We are seeking a UK Registered District Charge Nurse with a Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing to join the District Nursing Service with Renfrewshire HSPC. The role covers a wide geographic area.
Applicants should have significant nursing experience, demonstrate leadership, possess excellent communication skills, and show evidence of continuing professional development. The District Charge Nurse will manage a caseload and be responsible for delivering high standards of nursing care, leading, motivating, and supervising staff. The role involves clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate must be passionate about community services, motivated to work autonomously, and able to travel throughout the service area.
As part of the Primary Health Care Team, the District Nurse will collaborate with Clinical Team Leaders to implement local and national strategies and provide clinical and managerial leadership to the nursing team.
