What’s the role?
We're looking for a Paid Media Manager to join us here at Tempcover, you’ll collaborate with the Paid Media team and the CMO to strategise, execute and optimise large-scale ad campaigns. This in-house position is geared towards a results-driven, data-focused professional who excels in developing and managing profitable paid search campaigns. You will play a pivotal role in driving new customer acquisition, boosting retention and contributing to broader business objectives.
This is a high-visibility role within our marketing function, offering substantial responsibility over significant budgets and ample scope for innovation.
What you'll be doing:
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and expand paid media strategies that align with overarching marketing goals and OKRs, with a primary focus on high-intent Search channels.
* Campaign build and optimisation. Manage day-to-day performance across Google and Microsoft Ads. This includes conducting granular keyword research, managing aggressive bids in a competitive market, and relentless optimization to improve ROAS.
* Testing and experimentation. Lead structured A/B or multivariate tests to refine targeting, messaging and ultimately improve performance.
* Performance analysis and reporting. Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Ads dashboards, and spreadsheets) to monitor campaign results, track KPIs, and formulate actionable insights.
* Work together with our incredible teams, including the engineers building our proprietary technology, our product teams building industry leading experiences for our customers, and our marketing teams driving business performance.
* Maintain regulatory compliance. Ensure all ad copy and creative adhere to financial services regulations and brand guidelines.
What we're looking for
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Proven Paid Search experience. You have a track record of managing transactional B2C campaigns (Google & Microsoft).
* Skilled in interpreting data and turning insights into clear, actionable strategies. You are comfortable using data to justify bid adjustments and strategy shifts, and have an understanding of cross-channel attribution.
* Adept at juggling multiple projects, setting priorities, and delivering on deadlines.
* Comfortable navigating GA4 and tag management solutions. You understand how advanced tracking techniques work to measure true ROI. Knowledge of scripting or SQL-based data exploration is a plus.
* A high attention to detail with the ability to provide quality control of ad creatives, ensuring zero errors in budget pacing or ad targeting.
* Ability to deliver on key responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy.
* Prior experience working within Spreadsheets, Dashboards, BigQuery, or SQL is a plus, but mastery of native ad platforms is priority #1.
