KiddyKare are looking for an experienced deputy manager for a lovely privately owned nursery located in Pinner. The nursery is set with beautiful views and lots of outdoor space.\n\nWorking 40 hours per week between the hours of 7:30 and 6pm with a salary of up to £38,000.\n\nWhat they have to offer:\n• 28 days holiday per year including 5 days at Easter, 5 days at Christmas, bank holidays and the remaining to take in your own time\n• One extra day’s holiday per year increasing with each year of service\n• Additional days holiday for your birthday! If your birthday falls on a weekend, a day around the weekend will be given.\n• Employee of the month rewards\n• Christmas Bonus\n• Three paid staff inset days per year\n• In house training and opportunities to complete further courses and qualifications.\n• Complimentary team building activities and staff events\n• Staff childcare discount\n\nWhat your day would include:\n• Leading a team, encouraging and raising practice daily.\n• Managing and overseeing the daily running of the nursery in the absence of the manager.\n• Staff delegation and deployment to ensure all rooms are working within the adult to child ratios.\n• Oversee display boards and the setting up of a stimulating, warm environment prepared for the children including the garden in accordance with the 7 areas of learning.\n• Mentoring and training Room Leaders.\n• Creating children's health care plans.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\nEssential:\n• Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent qualification.\n• Minimum of three years’ experience working in a childcare setting, with at least two in a\nsupervisory or leadership role.\n• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and relevant childcare\nlegislation.\nDesirable:\n• Level 5 or above in Leadership and Management in Early Years.\n• Experience in Ofsted inspections and achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.\n• First Aid and Safeguarding training
