The Role - SEN Teaching AssistantAs an SEN Teaching Assistant with Academics, you will: Support pupils with a wide range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech & language difficulties, non-verbal pupils, and learning delaysWork 1:1 or with small groups to deliver tailored learning activitiesAssist the class teacher in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentAdapt to different school settings and teaching approaches, providing consistency and carePromote independence, confidence, and self-esteem in the children you support What We're Looking For Experience working with children with all types of SEN, including non-verbal pupils and those on the autism spectrumA calm, patient, and adaptable approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeingFlexibility to work across multiple Primary schoolsAn enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why Join Academics?
