Role Overview
As a service provider to supporting academics in their commercialisation activities and interactions with industry, your main duties will include supporting the Head of Commercialisation, Faculty of Natural Sciences, and the Commercialisation Executives as appropriate in:
1. Promoting the College’s research capabilities and licensing portfolio
2. Securing collaborative research and commercialisation income
3. Assessing research discoveries, evaluating, and advancing those technologies through to market adoption via collaboration with industry, access to translational funds, licensing, or spin-out
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. Essential experience supporting senior professional services and academic staff
2. Experience in relationship and/or project management in a medical, academic, or business environment (pharma, biotech, medical devices), with a strong delivery focus
3. Excellent communication and administrative skills, coupled with an understanding of the academic environment
