Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join their established team in Fareham.
This role will suit a Chartered or near-Chartered engineer seeking greater technical responsibility, project ownership, and clear progression within a close-knit, high-performing practice.
With a portfolio ranging from bespoke residential schemes to complex multi-million-pound commercial builds, the company offers genuine project variety, early design involvement, and direct collaboration with senior leadership.

Principal Structural Engineer
- Role Overview Lead and manage the structural design and delivery of residential and commercial projects from concept to completion.
Undertake detailed analysis and design in steel, concrete, masonry and timber using industry-standard software.
Liaise closely with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Oversee, mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-quality design culture.
Maintain or progress toward Chartered status with full professional support.
Proven record delivering structural design across residential and/or commercial developments.
Confident using analysis and design software with the ability to produce accurate calculations and reports.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to attend site and client meetings as required.
