As Assistant Accountant, your daily role, tasks and responsibilities will include: * Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner * Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies * Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management (including invoice discounting facility) * Support month-end and year-end closing processes * Maintain and update financial records and documentation * Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers/customers * Provide administrative support to the finance team as required Skills and Experience: * Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role would be advantageous (1-2 years preferred) * Proficiency in accounting software * Strong Excel skills and attention to detail * Excellent organisational and time management abilities * Good communication and interpersonal skills * High levels of accuracy and strong problem-solving skills. * Ability to work proactively and reactively while managing own workload
