Our client is seeking a dynamic and committed Operations Analyst to join their Security Settlements Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage positions, trading activity and funding across all European, Middle Eastern, and African markets. The successful candidate will be part of a highly efficient and successful operation that provides first-class service to clients. This role offers the chance to work with various departments across the firm and external agents based in countries across the regions they support.
What you'll do:
As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role within the EMEA Fixed Income Security Settlements Control team. You will ensure the smooth running of operations by ensuring timely settlement of trades executed by our trading desks and clients. Your responsibilities will also include facilitating client asset transfers and conversion requests. You will manage daily settlement risk and exposure while working closely with Business Units to enhance client service levels and support business growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic environment.
* Be part of the EMEA Fixed Income Security Settlements Control team overseeing third party vendor teams.
* Ensure timely settlement of trades executed by trading desks and clients.
* Facilitate client asset transfers and conversion requests.
* Manage and execute Settlement Fails route cause analysis and remediation in support of CSDR.
* Plan, assign, track and execute SME level remediation in complement to current BAU processes.
* Assist Asset Optimisation (unencumbered assets) CSDR fails analysis and remediation team.
* Manage daily settlement risk and exposure.
* Partner closely with Business Units to enhance client service levels and support business growth.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate will bring experience or a strong interest in the financial services industry, particularly in Security Settlements or related operations roles. You will possess a technical understanding of transaction lifecycle in Cash Equities & FID along with knowledge of regulatory policies & regulations. You will be an effective team player who thrives in high-pressure environments and meets deadlines.
