Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for an IPAF Scissor Lift Operator based in Coventry. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a large automotive and logistics company with worldwide operations.
The Role:
As an IPAF Scissor Lift Operator, you will work in a busy warehouse environment. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Operating a scissor lift truck at heights
* Validating stock in various locations
* Counting stock items and reporting discrepancies to the stock control team
* Advising on issues related to stock quantities
* Collaborating with the stock control team and working independently when needed
* Organizing and monitoring stock building and damage reports
* Taking ownership of regular physical inventories
* Using a hand-held scanner
What kind of person we are looking for:
* Excellent communication and mathematical skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions from managers and team leaders
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Valid and in-date scissor lift licence
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
