A unique opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager has arisen to join our clients established team in Buckingham.

They are a herbs and spices company that supply most major UK supermarkets, both under private and own label categories.
What we are looking for: -
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven National Account Manager (NAM) to join their dynamic sales team.
The NAM will be responsible for leading the end-to-end account management - from forecasting and promotional planning to cost control, negotiation, and NPD launches, working at pace within the UK retail market.
You will be responsible for managing our external relationship, leading cross-functional teams of internal stakeholders and work in partnership with a portfolio of key accounts in the UK Grocery and Convenience channels to grow the category and drive our business.
National Account management: 2 years (preferred).
Key Responsibilities: -
* Management and development of relationships with key supermarket customers
* Identifying and driving growth opportunities for existing range and new ranges and lines
* Partnering with supply chain, buying, finance and operations to deliver performance aligned against customer forecasts
* Responsible for using internal sales reports to track, measure and evaluate trends, providing updates to the CEO and to the wider business on performance versus targets
* Accountable for top and bottom-line growth through the development and execution of robust customer and channel strategies
* Working with Design team to create and execute shopper marketing plans with key customers
* Responsible for keeping abreast of industry and market trend and best practices, sharing learnings with the wider commercial team, and reviewing prices where appropriate
Qualifications: -
* 3 years or more, of relevant experience, leading the large multiple Grocery accounts
* Experience of dealings with supermarket multiples and significant listings with Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, and Costco would be beneficial
* Experience managing a consistent customer P&L and a thorough understanding of retail supply chain and store-level execution
* Proven ability to drive strategic relationships with senior counterparts on the retailer side
* Immense organisational skills required to deal with multiple customers, and ability to prioritise
* Clear, confident, and concise communication abilities
* Ability to work from their London office a few days a week and able to travel to customers sites for customer meetings
* Competent in MS Office (particularly Excel) and familiar with commercial systems/tools
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
