Due to increased global growth, our client, who is a well-established multi-national SME global logistics provider, who is rapidly expanding and specialize in offering supply chain and logistics solutions, are looking to recruit an Air Export Clerk, to be based in West Drayton, Greater London.

Main Purpose of the role:
A successful applicant will assist the Branch Manager and Export Operations Manager in the day to day running of a busy Air Export department. A keen eye for detail along with the ability to help produce high quality, accurate work in a fast paced often pressured environment will be required.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Air Export Clerk
* Calculation of costs on job files and raising of sales invoices
* Negotiation of air freight rates and schedules with providers
* Issuing of Air Export quotations to clients and overseas partners where necessary
* Receipt of shipment details by EDI & e-mail.
* Data input to KSmart system to create job and raising of job files.
* Liaising with Customers and Overseas offices
* Co-ordinating export collections and onward export operations
* Completion of Export documentation
* Customs Export declarations on CDS – ASM/Sequoia
* Completing post flight tracking
* Creating and maintaining export information databases and SOP’s
* Billing and job costing.
* General administration duties including filing.
To Be Considered:
* Proven experience of working within an air export environment working directly for a freight forwarder
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment
* Be able to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively
* Have a good working knowledge of ASM/Sequoia/WebCargo
