We are looking for a hands-on, all-rounder Finance Officer who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
From raising POs to running payroll, managing ledgers to pulling together monthly management accounts — you'll be right at the heart of our day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in line with internal procedures.
* Maintain and reconcile the purchase ledger, processing supplier invoices promptly.
* Manage the sales ledger, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely customer payments.
* Carry out credit control, including chasing overdue debts and maintaining effective communication with clients.
* Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and balance sheet items.
* Produce monthly management accounts, including account analysis and commentary on key variances.
* Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash transactions
* Liaise with other departments, suppliers, and clients to resolve financial queries.
* Ensure compliance with financial procedures, internal controls, and relevant legislation.
* Support year-end close processes, liaising with outside parties
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient workflows.
Qualifications & Experience:
* AAT Fully Qualified
* Previous experience in a similar finance role, including ledger management and credit control.
* Hands-on experience in producing management accounts and budgeting.
* Strong working knowledge of Xero - Knowledge of Odoo would be beneficial
* Excellent Excel skills, including use of formulas and pivot tables.
* Knowledge of VAT and basic tax regulations.
* Experience with payroll processes is desirable.
