Role Title: Admissions Assistant

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (0.6 contract, 22.2 hours per week)

Salary: £26,582 - £27,120 (pro rata)

We currently have a vacancy for an Admissions Assistant based at our Deeside Campus.

As an Admissions Assistant you will help to provide first class support to the college admissions service. The prime function of the role is to provide a first class, customer focused, sector leading, fair and transparent applicant experience and College admissions service.

The duties of an Admissions Assistant will include supporting the processing and checking of all student application forms (paper and online) within designated timescales.To respond appropriately and timely to enquiries, telephone calls, text messages, emails and Live Chat To develop technological tools and services that enhance customer service levels and communicate with learners in the modern manner they are used to.

Essential Requirements

1. Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration

2. To provide office support to the Admissions team to all of the college sites

3. 4 GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths

4. Well organised and able to prioritise workload effectively

5. To be able to support the needs of learners and college employees

6. To be able communicate effectively via the telephone, email, live chat and text

7. Flexible attitude, ability to use initiative

8. Good telephone manner

9. Punctual, organised, and understand the importance of good time management

Welsh skills are essential for this specific post. We are seeking candidates who can help us grow our bilingual provision and service.
