We’re supporting a fantastic primary school in Wolverhampton where learning is lively, children are curious, and the staff are truly valued. They’re on the lookout for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who brings both heart and head—someone who can cover lessons, inspire pupils, and work hand-in-hand with teachers to make every moment count.
Your role will include:
* Leading whole-class learning when teachers are planning or off-site
* Supporting small group interventions and targeted catch-up
* Building warm, respectful relationships with pupils
* Collaborating with teachers on planning, delivery, and assessment
* Keeping learning fun, engaging, and meaningful
You’ll need:
* HLTA status or equivalent experience delivering lessons
* Strong behaviour management and a flexible mindset
* A love of learning—and helping others love it too
* The ability to lead, support, and step up when needed
Bonus points if you’re:
* Thrive trained (or ready to complete our free Thrive training)
* Experienced with SEND, phonics, or KS2 curriculum support
