Job Description:
* The task: Building heat exchangers is our business – in that, efficient product variant management is one of the crucial interfaces: you will be responsible for the development and implementation of variant configuration with configurable materials (KMAT) and the automatic generation of BOMs and routings.
* You will collaborate with our product experts all over the Group to accurately map the product logic and transfer it to other Kelvion locations once developed and implemented.
* You will manage and maintain material master data.
* You will work with developers in other locations on cross-functional projects.
* You will explore ways to improve processes through optimized variant configuration, such as faster order handling, integration of pricing rules, improved quality management, accurate inventory predictions, and configurable production plans.
Who we are looking for:
* You have a BSc. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience, with a solid foundation in software development and systems analysis. Experience in industrial engineering or production technology is a plus but not mandatory.
* You have experience working with SAP systems, especially in logistics and variant configuration, with a good understanding of manufacturing processes. You enjoy developing systematic solutions for complex business requirements.
* A good command of English is required; additional languages and programming knowledge (ABAP) are helpful.
