This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Warwick’s Department of Computer Science Tissue Image Analytics (TIA) Centre as our TIA Coordinator. The role will provide effective and efficient financial, secretarial and administrative support for Centre regarding the use of digital pathology and artificial intelligence in pathology, and other research projects as required and support the project PI. This will include preparing information and reports for budgetary management and organising events ranging from staff/project meetings to conferences.
About You
We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified professional to take on the role of TIA Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in providing an administrative function within a busy office environment. Able to coordinate a wide range of activities and combine these with excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to master new areas of knowledge. You will be able to work well as part of a team as well as on your own and possess strong time management and IT skills.

The Tissue Image Analytics (TIA) Centre, based in the Department of Computer Science department, was established to tackle some of the major challenges in systematic data-driven mining of an increasing deluge of cancer image data as well as the associated clinical and genomic data. Our ultimate aim is to develop cutting-edge AI technologies to assist pathologists in diagnosing cancer more efficiently and empower the oncologists with reliable information to select optimal personalised treatment for cancer patients.
