Role Summary
This role involves advising clients on a broad range of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. The successful candidate will manage their own client base and caseload, with responsibilities including:
* Providing day-to-day employment law advice to employers
* Managing client relationships and delivering tailored, commercially focused advice
* Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, staff handbooks, and day-to-day HR documentation, including disciplinary and grievance correspondence
* Advising on TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, unfair dismissal, and general employee relations matters
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as an Employment Law Consultant, HR Consultant with strong employment law expertise, or similar advisory role
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Commercially minded, with a practical approach to problem-solving
* Ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines
