IT Support Officer – Local Council (Full‑Time, 37 hours – 3‑Month Contract)
We are recruiting an IT Support Officer to join a forward‑thinking IT team on a temporary basis. This is an on‑site role based in Essex.
Responsibilities
* Provide first‑line technical support via the service desk, acting as a key point of contact for IT queries and issues.
* Deliver excellent customer service while troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, supporting users across a range of systems and devices.
* Handle hardware commissioning and decommissioning.
* Contribute to the smooth delivery of Digital, Data and Technology services.
Requirements
* Experience with Microsoft technologies.
* Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
* ITIL knowledge (desirable).
Rates depend on experience and client requirements.
