Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements: Experience in cybersecurity, data security, or IT infrastructure. Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Knowledge of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), data encryption, access control, and security monitoring tools. Industry Cloud Certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP). Familiarity with relevant data protection regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, etc. Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Git, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible). Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive set of security technologies and processes (secure software development, data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management, network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments. Demonstrated ability to own and deliver security outcomes, not just contribute to programs. Certifications like CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent. Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of security measures within our Data Security Posture Management program to enhance data visibility and protection. Develop enforceable data governance controls, including data loss prevention (DLP), encryption, and access controls in the cloud. Participate in security audits and monitoring to identify potential risks. Translate threat intelligence into actionable engineering requirements, ensuring prioritized risks are reflected in the backlog and data defense strategies. Partner with cloud security teams to implement robust security frameworks across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid infrastructures and integrate data defense principles into the broader security strategy. Drive the identification and documentation of sensitive data flows, holding business units and data owners accountable for classification and access controls.
