Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30‑minute unpaid break
Salary: NJC Scale 4 – Range P6 £25,989 to P7 £26,403 (Estimated actual £22,255 to £22,609)
Role Overview
We are looking for an approachable and forward‑thinking School Office Assistant and ACE Tutor. Working alongside staff, children and parents you will be an ambassador for the school, demonstrating a commitment and passion to our mission and ensuring every child receives a high‑quality education.
Responsibilities
* First point of contact for visitors, creating a warm, welcoming environment.
* Efficient administration, prioritising, meeting deadlines and multi‑tasking.
* Support of school communication, documentation and administrative tasks.
* Support delivery of ACE tutoring, providing a high‑standard learning experience.
Qualifications
* A great communicator, developing positive relationships with young children and adults.
* Understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the children whom we support.
* Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team.
* High level of administrative, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
