The post holder will establish a new Internal Communications and engagement function to service teams based in Portsmouth and London, as well as coordinate with Clyde and Devonport Naval Base Comms teams. The role would suit an individual with experience of delivering Communications in a fast-paced environment. It requires strong communication and organisational skills. It is likely therefore that the responsibilities of the business management team will evolve. To act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) lead on Internal Communications for the 2 area providing corporate professional SME advice. Create a network of internal communication members across the Directorate, cohering activity and providing direction on Directorate wide issues Provide a best practice approach to the Communications Strategy and Delivery across the directorate using excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Build a listening culture and build feedback mechanisms into internal communications to enable employees to have an opportunity for dialogue.
