We are Midcare Housing Support, we work with children and young people aged years with challenging behaviour and emotional behaviour difficulties.
We are looking for outstanding Residential Support Workers to deliver exceptional care to our young people.
An opportunity has arisen in our children's homes, for Senior Residential Support Workers We are looking for caring and compassionate people with the desire to help children and young people, by making a positive difference to their lives and ensuring they have the best possible outcomes for their future.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct support and care to children in a residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with other staff members.
* Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to foster a supportive environment.
* Assist with daily activities, including transportation, educational support, and recreational outings.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to each child's progress and needs.
* Support Manager and deputy manager with ad hoc tasks
* Utilise IT tools to track and manage care plans and communication.
* Support with Rota preparation
* Sleep in are part of the requirements for the role.
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills
* NVQ level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
* Experience working with children in a residential setting
* Valid driver's license and ability to drive as needed
* Knowledge of childcare practices and care plans
* Proficiency in IT for maintaining records and reports
* Ability to work collaboratively with a team and provide support to children in care

Pay: £13.50-£14.25 per hour
