Skills & Qualifications We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
* Experience in a nursery or early years education setting.
* Confident understanding of safeguarding, EYFS, and inclusive practice.
* Enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning through play.
* Warm communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* A proactive, reliable, and positive approach to day‑to‑day routines.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Room Leader in the daily running of a busy Early Years room.
* Acting as a role model for best practice in childcare, safeguarding, and play‑based learning.
* Leading activities that boost children’s development across EYFS areas.
* Building warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
* Ensuring the room environment is engaging, inclusive, and well organised.
* Coaching team members and offering guidance where needed.
* Maintaining accurate records, observations, and reports.
* Helping create a safe, nurturing space where every child can thrive.
