We have partnered with a global Microsoft Security Solutions Partner + MISA Awards Finalist to build their Security Business Development and Account Management team in an exciting new strategy.
This global and growing business is Microsoft first in security, also offering wider vendor services. They are a Microsoft Managed Security Services Provider, a MISA member and awards finalist. They focus on the larger SMC sector and Enterprise across multiple industries and seek motivated Security BDMs to support their journey.
Ideal candidates are those with experience in cybersecurity sales, particularly managed security and/or professional services consulting, who can leverage Microsoft relationships to advance their sales.
Requirements include:
* Experience selling MXDR and professional security services/consulting.
* Ability to utilize tools and credibility provided by the company, a MISA member and awards finalist, to succeed.
* Motivated, experienced new logo sellers interested in security.
The team offers robust support including presales, consulting allies, and customer-specific products.
Managed Security Services include:
* Managed XDR
Professional Services/Consulting include:
* Cloud Security, Defender for Cloud/Entra/Intune
* Purview Compliance/Data Governance
* Security Copilot
Responsibilities:
* Grow business within new accounts.
* Build relationships with prospective clients and vendors, including Microsoft.
* Create and manage sales pipeline across security services, consulting, and presales.
* Maintain contact with existing clients.
* Track performance metrics.
* Understand customer security postures and identify solutions.
* Advise customers on suitable security services and solutions.
Key Experience:
* Full sales cycle experience, including closing deals.
* Experience with Microsoft Managed and/or Professional Security Services.
* Knowledge of the Microsoft Security stack and other vendor solutions, including licensing models for MXDR, cloud, IAM, and data governance.
* Ability to discuss solutions with customers.
* Proven sales success against targets.
* Experience selling MXDR/MDR services to new customers.
* Interest in Microsoft or broader security vendor services.
