Description
To program using Mazatrol and manufacture components to drawings, procedures and programmes as instructed by the Manager/Supervisor within the times set out on route cards and to maintain hight quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurately and efficiently manufacture equipment and parts.
2. Take a pro-active role to improve delivery performance, e.g., new methods, tooling etc.
3. Understand and interpret technical plans and drawings.
4. Record time accurately onto Mercury System via capture gun, and sign off route card to indicate operation completion.
5. Care and maintenance of machine, ensuring machine is cleaned down at the end of each shift and oil levels are correct.
6. Identify faults with machine and report to Supervisor/Manager.
7. Advise of any faults in quality or efficiency immediately and investigate to resolve with the assistance of the Supervisor/Manager.
8. Record all machined components using data capture gun.
9. Work on the 2 Axis machines where required.
10. Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
Qualifications/Experience
11. Engineering Apprenticeship i.e., time served turner/miller, or relevant experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
12. 3 years Mazak Integrex programming/operating experience
