About the role
An exciting, hands-on opportunity to build and run our B2B marketing function in a growing payments company. You’ll own the marketing plan, campaign calendar and performance reporting; partner closely with Sales & Product to drive pipeline and product adoption; and lead external partners to deliver standout thought leadership and demand. You’ll also play a visible role in product releases—reviewing updates from a customer perspective, surfacing usability issues or bugs, and feeding back clearly to the product team. Alongside campaigns, you’ll shape a right-sized marketing toolkit (analytics, CRM/email, social scheduling, CMS, light UX/experimentation).
Responsibilities
* Own the plan and campaign calendar, plus the performance reporting that goes with it
* Audit ways of working and propose a lightweight martech stack; run trials and recommend software providers
* Plan, create and publish content across our professional social channels; run multi-channel campaigns end-to-end
* Contribute to product releases: review updates from a customer perspective, spot UX issues/bugs, and provide clear feedback to product / dev team
* Create materials for key verticals and maintain the content calendar
* Support on-page SEO basics and competitor/industry research
* Lead our PR/comms agency: briefs, thought-leadership calendar, coverage/SOV/backlinks/referrals reporting
* Monitor and analyse performance; build simple dashboards; own the KPI framework and reporting to leadership
* Support events and help grow our social presence in line with brand strategy
About you
* 3–6 years’ B2B marketing experience; payments/fintech/financial services exposure is a plus
* Comfortable running campaigns end-to-end; familiar with design/email/social tools (any platform) and open to AI-assisted workflows
* Customer-eye for UX during releases; you spot issues and give actionable feedback
* Tool-savvy: evaluate and implement new tools quickly; confident comparing vendors and running short pilots
Required skills & experience
* 3–6 years’ experience in B2B marketing with end-to-end campaign delivery
* Strong written communication and stakeholder collaboration across Sales and Product
* Comfortable evaluating, implementing and learning new marketing tools; confident comparing vendors and running short pilots
* Able to build simple performance dashboards and translate data into actions (e.g., MQL/SQL conversion, CPL, coverage/referrals)
* Customer-eye for UX during releases; able to surface issues and provide actionable feedback
* Good organisation and multitasking: planning, prioritising and hitting deadlines in a lean team
Desirable (nice to have)
* Payments/fintech or financial services exposure
* Experience managing PR/communications or design agencies
* Basic design or video-editing capability; familiarity with CMS/landing pages and social scheduling tools
* On-page SEO or paid social experience
* Experience with light UX/experimentation or user testing practices
* Experience creating sales enablement for new feature launches
