Job Description:
Are you an ambitious Chartered Structural Engineer with an interest in building safety? Join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Sidcup, Kent, to lead and develop their team delivering structural engineering inspections and reports for building safety cases.
The firm employs over 100 staff across sectors including rail, marine, transport, housing, and local government. Your role will involve working with the Director to expand the client portfolio, manage team growth, and oversee technical delivery. The current structures team has around 10 staff.
You should have experience in a wide range of building structures design, site visits, observations, and providing written advice. Knowledge of robustness and progressive collapse is essential, with experience in assessments and remedial works of Large Panel systems being advantageous.
