<p>A leading international law firm is seeking an <strong>Associate</strong> to join its highly regarded<strong> Insurance Disputes</strong> team in Exeter.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice acting for a diverse portfolio of global insurers, advising on complex and high-value disputes across a range of insurance classes.</p><p><br></p><p>Youll work alongside experienced practitioners, gaining exposure to litigation, arbitration, mediation and strategic policy advice.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As part of a collaborative and growing team, you will advise insurer clients on a broad range of contentious matters, providing comprehensive claims resolution and coverage advice across domestic and international disputes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p><em>Your responsibilities will include:</em></p><ul><li>Advising on insurance coverage, policy interpretation and liability disputes</li><li>Managing insurance and personal injury claims through litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution processes</li><li>Handling both claimant and defendant matters, including subrogated recovery actions</li><li>Advising on contractual issues arising from insurance disputes and supporting wider civil litigation matters where required</li><li>Managing cases from inception through to resolution, ensuring compliance with procedural and regulatory requirements</li><li>Building and maintaining strong client relationships, attending meetings and providing commercially focused advice</li><li>Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives across the team</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p><em>To be successful in this role, you will:</em></p><ul><li>Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales</li><li>Have experience within insurance disputes, commercial litigation or a related dispute resolution discipline</li><li>Possess strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy</li><li>Demonstrate excellent client relationship and communication skills</li><li>Be commercially aware and capable of delivering pragmatic, client-focused advice</li><li>Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive and high-performing team environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Whats on Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Exposure to a broad range of domestic and international insurance disputes</li><li>High-quality work for a prestigious insurer client base</li><li>Clear opportunities for career progression with strong Partner support and mentoring</li><li>A collaborative, inclusive and collegiate culture</li><li>The opportunity to develop your expertise within a leading insurance practice</li></ul>
