Location: Central London, Hybrid working, 2 days a week onsite
Oliver Bernard have partnered with a fast-growing, award-winning fintech company on the lookout for a Lead Software Engineer to lead one of their backend teams. You’ll help design and build scalable, high-performance systems that power a platform used by millions of users.
What You’ll Do:
* Build and maintain resilient backend systems using C# and .NET.
* Work across the full development lifecycle – from planning and coding to deployment and support.
* Build, manage and mentor a team of software engineers
* Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and other Dev teams in an Agile environment.
* Define roadmaps and strategy
* Lead on architectural decisions
About You:
* Strong commercial experience in backend development with C#/.NET.
* Strong experience working in the cloud (Azure is preferable, but happy to consider AWS)
* Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and scalable architecture.
* Experience building high performing teams
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
* Experience in fast-paced or regulated environments is a plus.
