Overview
Air Conditioning Engineer – Location: London & Home Counties. Permanent contract. Salary £46,000 to £50,000 DOE plus door to door travel and overtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning and HVAC systems across commercial sites.
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on split systems, VRV/VRF units, multi-split systems, and associated ventilation equipment.
* Undertake installation, commissioning, and testing of air conditioning systems in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and compliantly, adhering to F-Gas regulations, health & safety policies, and company procedures.
* Complete service reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation accurately, providing clear updates on works carried out and any remedial actions required.
* Build strong working relationships with clients and site teams, delivering a high standard of customer service while supporting the delivery of maintenance and project works.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer within commercial maintenance, service, and installation environments.
* F-Gas Category 1 certification is essential.
* Good understanding of health & safety regulations, compliance standards, and safe systems of work within commercial environments.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
* On call rota is 1-in-7.
* Standard working day is 8 hours on site, with an 08:00 start time.
* Any time worked on site beyond 8 hours is paid at 1.5x overtime.
* Travel time is paid separately and on top of on-site hours.
