You should have a strong background in Security Architecture, especially within high-threat government environments. A solid understanding of High-Level Infrastructure Architecture (HLD) is essential, along with proficiency in: Implementing and managing security monitoring solutions and developing custom alerts to detect anomalies and potential threats across AWS services. Designing and managing security policies to enable conditional access to the AWS environment. Designing logging and monitoring solutions using Microsoft Defender for Cloud alongside Microsoft EntraID, facilitating integration between EntraID and AWS CloudWatch. Enabling Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts with tools such as Terraform to enforce security configurations across the identity platform. Analyzing security data using Microsoft Defender for Cloud, with integration into Security Lake to centralize and enhance insights across multiple data sources. Having a background in Security Operations within the Defence, Nuclear, or Central Government sectors, or other secure environments. Responsibilities: As the Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security frameworks that protect our client's cloud infrastructure. Your duties will include managing security monitoring solutions, creating custom alerts for detection of threats, and ensuring compliance with security policies in the AWS environment. You will also oversee the integration of various security tools and optimize them for enhanced performance, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to promote proactive security measures.
